Andrew Garfield is the new Spider-Man! Sony Pictures announced through a press release that Garfield has been selected to star as Peter Parker in the studio's upcoming reboot of the "Spider-Man" franchise from "(500) Days of Summer" director Marc Webb and screenwriter James Vanderbilt. The film is scheduled to hit movie theaters on July 3, 2012 with Lizard is rumoured to be the villain in the show.According to Wikipedia on "Andrew Garfield", he starred in a 2009 fantasy film, "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus".
