CHIWETEL'S #14 ON THE EW 100

UK/Naija actor Chiwetel Ejiofor made it onto EW 100 must-have list of movie stars that "EW" is loving right now. FG2BH applauds Chiwetel 's acting career thus far. Chiwetel, who's currently single and yes that girl in the photos with him is his sister, can be seen next in two films,"American Gangster" co-starring Denzel Washington, T.I., Common, and Russell Crowe AND "Talk to Me" co-starring Don Cheadle, Taraji P. Henson, Mike Epps, and Cedric The Entertainer. I enjoyed Chiwetel breaking down the correct pronunciation of his name. We, Naijas and Africans, run into the same dilemma which can be bothersome on the first day of work and school! Fortunately in my experience, my name tends to be the ice breaker on that first day.

DJIMON AND ALEK WEK AT VF BASH

Djimon Hounsou accompanied by steady girlfriend Kimora Lee Simmons of the mega successful clothing line, Baby Phat, attended the Vanity Fair's Africa issue party.


The event also bought out supermodel Alek Wek. Alek walked the runway for Baby Phat Spring/Summer collection earlier this year which you can catch here.

Djimon and Kimora go way back to their joint project, "Beauty Shop." Kimora had a small role alongside actress LisaRaye in the film but Queen Latifah was the one who caught Djimon in "Beautyshop." I highly recommend this film to you all out there.

Anyhow Kimora looks flawless in her Versace mini and a pair of Russell Simmons beads. Kimora also sported the same dress like Victoria's Secret model Alessandro and Cassie wore months ago on the red carpet. Vote for who has the look on lock over at URBAN-HOOPLA.COM.

THE RETURN OF BEYONCE

While I was in the city loading up on my some Naija films to watch, I came across a poster advertising a Ghana film called, "The Return of Beyonce."

Thanks in part to YOUTUBE.COM, there's a eye opening trailer to the film, enjoy:

Nadia Buari stars as "Beyonce", Yvonne Okoro (an fab Naija actress) and the handsome Van Vicker. Nonetheless, "The Return of Beyonce" is something I'll be getting this weekend!

Beyonce' (Nadia Buari), the president's daughter meets Raj (Van Vicker) at the Super Market and falls in Love with him. Unfortunately Raj is engaged to be married with Ciara (a stranger) who found him near death and took him to the nearest hospital. Beyonce' uses whatever she has to win him over.
