Dy kann sering bawa2 ke skolahan. Bawa kripik coklat, bawa kripik singkong jagung bakar, halah, aneh2 lhaq yg dibawain nyah.. Eh, trnyata enak jg.. hahha.

Di PU kan memang kawasan industri kripik, binaan PTP itu lhoo. Jd byk lhaq yg jualan kripik dsitu. Bokap nyokap gw mha gk mao beliin, pdhl mereka itu sering jln sehat kesitu.. Right after the memorial mass for Senator Edward Kennedy, they opened the Basilica to the public. For a moment it felt like going to Baclaran Church. I took these snaps trying very hard to avoid the media crew as they pull down miles of cables, lights and TV cameras.

The Basilica and Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help is a Roman Catholic Basilica in Boston, Massachusetts, sometimes known as the Mission Church.

The Redemptorist Fathers built a modest wooden mission church on the location in 1870. The current church structure was first built in 1878, of Roxbury puddingstone; its spires were added in 1910. Due to the church's sloping foundation, the west cross tops its tower at 215 feet (66 m); the other spire is two feet shorter. The length of the church is also 215 feet (66 m), presenting a perfect proportion. The church was elevated to basilica status in 1956 by Pope Pius XII.

Senator Edward Kennedy's funeral took place there on August 29, 2009. He had often prayed at the church due to its proximity to the hospitals in the Longwood Medical Area of Boston, where he had visited sick and injured members of his family. [wiki]

Mana les gw jg ada ujian hr minggu nyah, pinter2 ajh itu mha ngatur waktu nyah.. Dann sukur bgt test nyah gw lulus! Hhhoho. Persiapan training nyah, spatu baru, surat dispensasi ke skolah, smuwa lhaq ditanggung manager tim. Pokoq nyah gk skolah 1 minggu! Hhhahahaii.. Udh seneng2 gt kann, eh t’nyata yg junior putri cuma maen 2 hari, Minggu-Senen ajh! Halaah. Tp bdo amadt, ijin nyah 1minggu inih kann? Sayang bgt qlo gk dimanfaatin. Jd hr Selasa nyah gw cr alesan lhaq biar gk msuk skolah.. Gw bilang ajh ke bokap, mao jd supporter yg senior2.. Hhha, untungnyah bokap gw baeq, dan gw dibolehin bolos 1 hr! Hhhhaha.

Pas opening ama closing ceremony nyah nyah udh keren bgt! Semangat2 atlet nyah dpt! Dann hsl nyah trnyata lumayan jugaa!! Tim PORGUB jd juara umum lhoo! Horee! Walaupun qt2 yg junior putri, gk menang banyak.. Cm menang di nomor double lawan Lamsel, halah. Tp tetep, yg nama nyah tim, qlo yg laen menang, qt pasti kebagian doong menang nyahh?? Hhoho. Memang hebat dehh oom2, dan tante2 ituuh! Saludt ama mereka! Makasii iiah buat kerjasama smuwa tim PORGUB nyahh.. Hhhoho.

Jd hr jumat itu tgl 21, sblom puasa, anaq2 Gauss pd ke Krakatoa. Yahh, gk smuwa Gauss sii, cm bbrp ajh rame2. Ngantuq di jln ajh ini mha. Maenan aer, naeq banana boat, maen bola, nyntai2 di kolam renang.. Dr pagiii ampe maghrib! Gk brasa bgt, tauq2 kulit udh gosong ajh.. Susana pantai, ngeliat laut ituhh keren bgt! Tp sumpah, sesek bgt naeq gw banana boat, asiin boo aer nyah! Hhaha. Dan gw jg blajar 1 hal, tnyata nge-reksi ituh gk enaq, bau abu, dan gk perlu! Gk mao lg dehh, janji!

Tgl 23 nyah, qtorg olahraga pagi critanyah ke gunung.. Acara anaq2 Svarnadipa tuuh. Gk seru bgt sii, tp ngambil olahraga nyah ajh lhaq, supaya tetep sehat! Hhoho. Qt sibuq ajh foto2 di gunung ituh. Pemandangan nyah dr puncak sii kereeen bgt! Haduh, gw hrs sering ngeliat yg ijo2 gt dehh. Pulangnyah yaoda lgsg ke vhr lg!

Dan tadi, barusan ajh baliq dr rmh nyah Ninda.. Ninda udh 17! Hhaha. Ksono nyah boncengan motor ama Miss Puji, sore2 gt kan. Hrs nya sii gw latian, bru td pagi di sms Om Herman, suruh ke PTP.. Tp iiah, gw gk enaq jg lhaq qlo gk dtg tmt Ninda.. Jd gw bolos latian hr ini, gk enak sii ama Oom nyah, ampe ditelpon2in kan gw.. Hhaha.

99th Annual Fisherman's Feast of the Madonna Del Soccorso di Sciacca

The Fisherman's Feast is an annual event that began in Boston in 1911 and is based on a tradition that goes back to the 16th century in Sciacca Sicily. The Feast is based on the devotion of the fishermen from Sciacca to the Madonna del Soccorso (Our Lady of Help). When the fishermen immigrated to America in the early 1900's, they brought their traditions with them. Today's Feast is much the same as it was 90 years ago with lights adorning the street and the smell of sausage in the air. The current Feast is organized by the descendants of those original immigrants and still includes a procession of the Madonna through the streets of the North End.


Each August since 1911, the Feast has been held in Boston's historic North End on North and Fleet Streets, making it the North End's oldest continuously running Italian festival. The Feast traditionally starts on Thursday when the statue of the Madonna is moved from her home in the Fisherman's Club to a chapel at the center of the feast. This will be her home throughout the weekend. Thursday is also when the fishermen that founded the Feast are remembered with a blessing of the fishing waters. Each night and during weekend days there is entertainment on the bandstand and vendors selling food (Italian sausages, calamari, pizza, pasta and much more) as well as crafts. The Feast culminates on Sunday night with the spectacular "Flight of the Angel".

This is the highlight of the Feast for many people. All day on Sunday, members of the Fisherman's club and their families carry the statue of the Madonna in a procession through the streets of the North End. When the Madonna returns to North Street late in the afternoon, it is time for the grand finale. A young girl dressed as an angel will fly out of a third story window and down to the Madonna. After a short prayer she is raised back up into the window to the cheer of the crowd and showers of confetti. via fisherman's feast
