This picture shows an unusual primate called a pygmy tarsier (weighing about 50 grammes), which some scientists believed to have become extinct more than eight decades ago. Pygmy tarsier, one of the world's smallest and rarest primates, was rediscovered on Mt. Rore Katimbo in Lore Lindu National Park in central Sulawesi, Indonesia by Texas A and M University professor Sharon Gursky-Doyen in August.
