SITE TO VISIT: KAISSA.COM
KAISSA.COM is Feels Good 2 B Home's Site to Visit. According to the Cameroonian singer's official myspace page, her music is described as a blend of Afro-beat and reggae. Kaissa credits notable African acts like King Sunny Ade and Fela Anikulapo Kuti as well as soulful singers Whitney Houston, Billie Holiday, and Nina Simone as her musical influences.
Her 2004 debut record, "Looking There" was released on Sony Music South Africa. Kaissa's music has allowed her to travel the world...in fact she'll perform in Paris on December 6th at Casino De Paris. For the time being, Kaissa is based in New York City. (Here's a little FYI: Kaissa was here in the City this past Friday-November 30th to be exact but I couldn't make it to her gig unfortunately.)
Check out Kaissa performing her song, "Mumi" in the Big Apple not too long ago:

CANDIDS FROM SOUTH AFRICA TO NYC
One consistency with the UK model Naomi is her love for the former South African President besides who can forget how in the past she called Nelson her "honorary grandfather"?! The concert, which happens to be fund-raising campaign named 46664 after Mandela's prison number, is for a good cause...and hopefully it'll get televised over here in the States and not just in Johannesburg.
Nelson Mandela's daughter, Maki Mandela, bought AIDS awareness to the people of China via a press conference for Miss World Pageant's 'Beauty with a Purpose' campaign. At the event, Maki pose with Miss World Pageant Director Julia Morley. Doesn't Maki look exactly like her father? It's great that she's supporting her father's charity cause...
Back in New York City, Thandie Newton attended Calvin Klein's museum opening. 'First Look' grand reopening celebration of The New Museum on the Bowery took place a day after Thandie's red carpet spot in London. Not showing a bit of jet-lagged, Thandie of course wore a piece from the designer's Fall 2007 collection.

Posh Spice's shrinked her boobs!!!
(Left to right) Posh turns heads with her heaving chest, but things appeared to head south, and now they've totally done a runner!
£500,000 diamond-studded collar!!!
Stewart Parker the alligator man !!!
Model British Royal Navy ship HMS Victory made from bones and human hair goes to auction!!!
It was built from left-over beef bones from the prisoners' meals to pay for their upkeep. Bones form the hull while human hair was used for the rigging and paper tissue for the flags. Other details include anchors, belfry and ship's boats. It is even fitted with pull cords with bone finials for operating the guns.
FLICKS OF THANDIE AND SEAL
And I would never guess Thandie has two children as she is so petite!

Check out this Volkswagen advertisting campaign featuring Seal with his wife, Heidi Klum:
AD spotted at Sandra Rose
Here's a few thoughts that ran across my mind when I caught this picture over at the site of our good friend Sandra Rose: Why is Seal posing like he's Superman?? Anyone wondering why Seal's 'car' is dirty and Heidi is clean like I am??

BOOK TO KNOW: LETTERS TO MY SISTERS
"Letters to My Sisters: Plain Truths and Straightforward Advice from a Gynecologist" by Dr. Ngozi Osuagwu
Reading is an activity I exercise from time to time as a therapeutic experience. One book I recommend to Feels Good 2 B Home readers is "Letters to My Sisters".
Nigerian and African women, in my opinion, sometimes don't speak about their health-related issues to one another but Dr. Osuagwu's cautionary tale breaks down that wall. "Letters to My Sisters" is similar to that one crucial talk a female would have with their role model or mother. Only 128 pages long, "Letters to My Sisters" is a easy read and has a friendly conversational tone.
Spearheaded by Ben Posah Books (a publishing company lead by Nigerian engineer in New Albany, Ohio), "Letters to My Sisters" is quickly becoming a underground book success as Wendy Williams and MC Lyte are its famous readers.
"Letters To My Sisters" is available via Ben Bosah Books.

OLUCHI AT VICTORIA'S SECRET SHOW
As a bonus treat, check out Oluchi from last year's show:
Since she married to designer Luca Luca and she's with Victoria's Secret and L'Oreal, what other brand do you want Oluchi to model for?

The world's most advanced prosthetic arm!!!
Amputees could soon be fitted with prosthetic limbs that enable them to regain their sense of touch, thanks to a break-through new bionic hand device.
"This work offers the possibility that an amputee may one day be able to feel with an artificial limb as though it was his own. Sensors could be placed in a prosthetic hand to measure contact forces and temperature, while a device could press or thermally stimulate the reinnervated skin to provide sensory feedback that appropriately correlates to hand perception."
The technique could soon be used to make artificial arms that can reproduce feeling, possibly within as little as two years.
Tabula Peutingeriana, an ancient roadmap of the Roman Empire, displayed!!!
Washington Redskins football player Sean Taylor dies!!!
"According to a preliminary investigation, it appears that the victim was shot inside the home by an intruder," Miami-Dade County police said in a statement.
But police were still investigating the attack, which came just eight days after an intruder was reported at Taylor's home. Officers were dispatched about 1:45 a.m. Monday after Taylor's girlfriend called 911.
William Burge's 'art-car' called Phantoms!!!
American artist William Burge, from Houston in Texas, sits behind the wheel of his 'art-car' Phantoms before the start of the Essen Motor Show in Germany on Monday. Under all those demonic faces lies the same type of car that used to star in Disney's Lovebug movies – a 1968 Volkswagen Beetle.
