*UPDATE*
After the parade, a group of hip-hop Naija artists took the stage to sing a remix to Rihanna's "Umbrella" and 50 Cent's "I Get Money." Also at the parade, I bump into Regina Askia, Oliver Mbamara, Sir Citor, Ebbe Bassey, Away Away, and Jim Iyke.
And here are some pictures taken from last year's Nigerian Independence Parade:

At Fusion Night club, the former beauty pageant queen Regina host the official Nigerian Independence Day Parade after party which bought out hip-hop icon Doug E. Fresh, Tony One Week, Jim Iyke, Nnenna from "America's Next Top Model", and Celestina.
To commemorate this historical event, I came across these three YouTube clips of the Nigerian Anthem sung live.
